DAY 01 ARRIVE DELHI
Arriving Delhi - The capital of India. Meet and Greet at the
Airport. Transfer to Hotel for check in. Break fast at the hotel.
Afternoon take a city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi visiting
Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, India Gate, Parliament House, President
House, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat. Evening witness "Sound
& Light" show at Red Fort to get a glimpse of the History of
the Fort. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 02 DELHI / JAIPUR
Early morning check out from the hotel and transfer to New Delhi
Railway Station to board the train for Jaipur, popularly known
as 'Pink City' because of the pink paint applied on the walls.
In Rajput culture, pink was traditionally a color associated
with hospitality. Breakfast on board. Upon arrival, transfer
to hotel and check in. Afternoon take a half-day city tour covering
Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Royal Observatory & Bazaar . Evening
free and overnight at hotel.
DAY 03 JAIPUR
After breakfast, visit The Amber Fort, known for its rich culture
and heritage also take an elephant ride in Amber Fort. Evening
free for shopping and overnight at hotel.
DAY 04 JAIPUR / AGRA
After breakfast, morning free. Check out from the hotel at noon
and transfer to Jaipur Railway Station to board the train for
Agra. The city of Agra is famous world over for the Taj Mahal.
Millions of tourists from all over the world come here every
year to savor the different moods of this magnificent edifice.
It also has a number of historical monuments in and around the
city, dating back to the 16th and 17th century. Upon arrival,
transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 05 AGRA
After breakfast, take a half-day city tour. Afternoon visit
Agra Fort and enjoy the sunset at the beautiful Taj Mahal- the
seventh wonder of the world. Over night at Hotel.
DAY 06 AGRA / GWALIOR
Early morning check out from the hotel and transfer to Agra
Railway Station to board the train for the fort city of Gwalior,
home of the famous Scindia dynasty. Breakfast on board Upon
arrival, transfer to hotel and check in. Afternoon half-day
tour of the spectacular fort with its riot of colorful tile
work and outstanding stonework, Teli ka Mandir, Museum etc.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 07 GWALIOR / KHAJURAHO
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Gwalior
Railway Station to catch the train for Jhansi. Upon arrival,
drive to Khajuraho. En-route visit Orchha, the capital city
of Bundellas, famous for palaces and temples. On arrival check
in at hotel. Evening free and overnight at hotel.
DAY 08 KHAJURAHO / VARANASI
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and take a city tour
of eastern and western group of temples. Evening transfer to
Orchha Railway Station to board the train for Varanasi. Overnight
on board.
DAY 09 VARANASI
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and check in. Afternoon visit
Sarnath, a famous Budhist pilgrim where Lord Budhdha gave his
first sermon to his disciples. Evening free and overnight at
hotel.
DAY 10 VARANASI
After breakfast, take a half day tour visiting Benaras Hindu
University, Birla Temple, Durga Temple, Bharat Mata mandir,
etc. Evening enjoy the cultural show and dinner on Bazra (a
small house boat) river ganges. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 11 VARANASI / DELHI
Early morning boat ride on river Ganges to see the beautiful
sunrise at Ganges.After the boat ride see the holi ghats & temples.
Breakfast at hotel. Check out at noon. Afternoon free for shopping
and transfer to Varanasi Railway Station in the evening to board
the train for Delhi. Overnight on board.
DAY 12 DELHI
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and check in. Breakfast at hotel.
Day free for shopping and visiting Lotus temple, Delhi Haat,
etc. Late evening check out from the hotel and transfer to International
Airport for onward destination.
