Gulmarg
52 Kms. From Srinagar and about 2,653 meters high, Gulmarg or
the `Meadow of Flowers' is a lovely green spot where a profusion
of flora changes colours with the changing seasons. Gulmarg
offers the world's highest golf course, green and rolling smooth.
Come winter and the town opens up to winter-sports enthusiasts.
Pahalgam
The small hamlet of Pahalgam is ideally situated at the junction
of the Lidder and the Sheshnag streams in the Valley of Kashmir.
About 96 km from Srinagar, Pahalgam is heralded by the gushing
mountain stream flowing through the thick pine and fir-covered
mountains as it keeps you company till Pahalgam appears round
the corner. Srinagar (96km) is the nearest airport and the railhead
is Jammu (291 km).

Chandanwari (16 km), Sheshnag Lake and Glacier, Panchtarni (40
km), Aru (11 km), Tarsar Lake (34 km), and the holy cave of
Amarnath.
