DAY 01 ARRIVE DELHI
Arriving Delhi - The capital of India. Meet and Greet at the
Airport. Transfer to Hotel for check in. Break fast at the hotel.
Afternoon take a city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi visiting
Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, India Gate, Parliament House, President
House, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat. Evening witness "Sound
& Light" show at Red Fort to get a glimpse of the History of
the Fort. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 02 DELHI / JODHPUR
After Breakfast check out from the Hotel. Day for shopping and
visiting Lotus temple etc. and transfer to Old Delhi Railway
Station to board the train for Jodhpur, the kingdom of the Rathore
kings. Jodhpur's houses and temples, palaces and havelis still
retain and preserve the age-old traditions and are protected
from the desert by a massive 10 km long wall. A picturesque
road winds up through various gates and walls. Overnight on
board.
DAY 03 JODHPUR
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Breakfast at Hotel. Afternoon
take a half-day city tour. Evening free and overnight at hotel.
DAY 04 JODHPUR / JAISALMER
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and take an excursion
to the Jain temples of Osian . Evening free for shopping and
in time transfer to Jodhpur Railway Station to board the train
for Jaisalmer. . Jaisalmer is said to owe its origin in a prophecy
by Lord Krishna. The whole place is festooned with forts, palaces
and temples. The beauty is etched in yellow sandstone lending
it a golden aura. Overnight on board.
DAY 05 JAISALMER
Upon arrival, direct transfer to Sand dunes where you will enjoy
the night on camp. Breakfast on the way at local restaurant.
En-route visit Amar Sagar,the Jain temples of Lodhruva. Upon
arrival, check in at good A/C camps. Evening evening enjoy the
cultural programs and traditional dinner on the dunes. Overnight
at Camp.
DAY 06 JAISALMER / JODHPUR
After early breakfast, take a camel safai. Afternoon check out
and take a city tour of Jaisalmer. Evening transfer to Jaisalmer
Railway Station to board the train for Jodhpur. Overnight on
board.
DAY 07 JODHPUR / RAWLA NARLAI
Upon arrival, transfer to a hotel for wash and change followed
by breakfast and drive to Rawla Narlai, a royal hunting retreat
between Jodhpur and Udaipur is an enchanting new destination
with a beautiful lake. On arrival check in at the hotel. Day
free for leisure. In the evening bathe in the moonlight under
the starry sky, listening to the hypnotic chanting and singing
by local musicians. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 08 RAWLA NARLAI / UDAIPUR
After breakfast, check out and drive down to Udaipur, the capital
of the erstwhile state of Mewar. Variously described as the
"City of Sunrise", the "City of Dreams" and the "City of Enchantment",
Udaipur is beautifully set amidst wooded hills and slopes encircling
a scenic lake. En-route, visit the Jain Temples of Ranakpur,
which has grand structures and beautiful sculpture. There are
1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar. Upon
arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening free and overnight at
hotel.
DAY 09 UDAIPUR
After breakfast, take a city tour visiting City Palace, Jagdish
Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion ki bari (Queen's
resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art
museum ). Evening boat ride at Lake Pichola. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 10 UDAIPUR / JAIPUR
After breakfast, morning free. Check out at noon. Afternoon
free for shopping and evening transfer to Udaipur Railway Station
to board the train for Jaipur. Overnight on board.
DAY 11 JAIPUR
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and check in. After breakfast,
visit The Amber Fort known for its rich culture and heritage
also take an elephant ride in Amber Fort. Afternoon city tour
covering Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Royal Observatory & Bazaar.
Overnight at hotel.
DAY 12 JAIPUR / AGRA
After late breakfast, check out from the hotel. Morning free
for shopping and transfer to Jaipur Railway Station to board
the train for Agra. The city of Agra is famous world over for
the Taj Mahal. Millions of tourists from all over the world
come here every year to savor the different moods of this magnificent
edifice. It also has a number of historical monuments in and
around the city, dating back to the 16th and 17th century. Evening
arrive Agra. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and check in at
the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 13 AGRA
After breakfast, take a half-day city tour. Afternoon visit
Agra Fort and enjoy the sunset at the beautiful Taj Mahal- the
seventh wonder of the world. Over night at Hotel.
DAY 14 AGRA / KHAJURAHO
Early morning check out from the hotel and transfer to Agra
Railway Station to board the train for Jhansi. Breakfast on
board. Upon arrival, drive down to Khajuraho and check in at
the hotel. En-route visit Orchha, the capital city of Bundellas,
famous for palaces and temples. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 15 KHAJURAHO / VARANASI
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and take a city tour
of eastern and western group of temples. Evening transfer to
Orchha Railway Station to board the train for Varanasi. Overnight
on board.
DAY 16 VARANASI
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and check in. Afternoon visit
Sarnath, a famous Budhist pilgrim where Lord Budhdha gave his
first sermon to his disciples. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 17 VARANASI
Early morning boat ride on river Ganges to see the beautiful
sunrise at Ganges.After the boat ride see the holi ghats & temples
. Breakfast at restaurant. Afternoon take half day tour visiting
Benaras Hindu University, Birla Temple, Durga Temple, Bharat
Mata mandir. Evening free and overnight at hotel.
DAY 18 VARANASI / KATHMANDU
After breakfast, check out from the hotel transfer to Airport
on time to connect the flight for Kathmanu, the capital of Nepal.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and check in. Evening free and
overnight at hotel.
DAY 19 KATHMANDU
After breakfast, full day city tour of Kathmandu visiting Bhadgaon,
Pashupatinath and Bodhanath, etc. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 20 KATHMANDU
After breakfast, day free for leisure and shopping. Overnight
at hotel.
DAY 21 KATHMANDU / DELHI
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Day free and transfer
to Kathmandu Airport on time to board the Flight for Delhi.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 22 DELHI
After late breakfast, check out from the Hotel. Day for shopping
and visiting Lotus temple, Delhi Haat, etc. and transfer to
International Airport for onward destination.
