Legend has it that the rishis brought the waters of the sacred
Mansarovar River to form the Naini Lake. Nainital nestles among

The nearest railway station of Kathgodam is 35 km. Kathgodam
is well connected to Agra, Bareilly, Lucknow and Delhi. One
can take a bus/taxi from Kathgodam to Nainital. By road Naini
Tal is connected to Almora (68 km), Delhi (322 km), Ranikhet
(59 km), Bareilly, Hardwar, Dehradun, Haldwani, Kathgodam, Kausani
and Ramnagar.
