DAY 01 ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi - The capital of India. Meet and Greet at the Airport.
Transfer to Hotel for check in. Break fast at the hotel. Afternoon
take a city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi visiting Qutub
Minar, Humayun Tomb, India Gate, Parliament House, President
House, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat. Evening witness "Sound
& Light" show at Red Fort to get a glimpse of the History
of the Fort. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 02 DELHI / MANDAWA
After breakfast, check out and drive down to Mandawa, known
throughout the Rajasthan for its Forts and Havelis. The structures
of this place reminds one of the cultural and social hotspot
this place used to be in the bygone era. Afternoon visit Havelis
and Forts. Evening free and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03 MANDAWA / BIKANER
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for
Bikaner, a city chiefly interesting for its superb large Fort.
Afternoon take a city tour. Evening free and overnight at hotel.
DAY 04 BIKANER / JAISALMER
After breakfast, check out and drive down to Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer
is said to owe its origin in a prophecy by Lord Krishna. The
whole place is festooned with forts, palaces and temples. The
beauty is etched in yellow sandstone lending it a golden aura.
Upon arrival, check in at Hotel. Evening visit to Khuri &
enjoy a Camel Ride on the dunes. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 05 JAISALMER
After breakfast, take a half day city tour of Jaisalmer.
Evening free and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06 JAISALMER / JODHPUR
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jodhpur-
the kingdom of the Rathore kings. En-route visit Osian. There
are numerous beautifully ornate temples in Osian that were built
bij Jains between the 8th and 12th centuries when they dominated
the area. Upon arrival, check in at the Hotel. Evening free
and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 07
JODHPUR
After breakfast, take a half day city tour. Jodhpur's
houses and temples, palaces and havelis still retain and preserve
the age-old traditions and is protected from the desert by a
massive 10 km long wall. The massive fort atop a rocky hill
dominates the city. A picturesque road winds up through various
gates and walls. Evening free and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08 JODHPUR / UDAIPUR
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive down to
Udaipur, the capital of the erstwhile state of Mewar. Variously
described as the "City of Sunrise", the "City of Dreams" and
the "City of Enchantment", Udaipur is beautifully set amidst
wooded hills and slopes encircling a scenic lake. En-route visit
famous Jain temples of Ranakpur and Chittorgarh-The hilltop
fortress of Chittorgarh epitomizes the whole romantic, doomed
ideal of Rajput Chivalry. Upon arrival, check in at the Hotel.
Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 09 UDAIPUR
After breakfast, take a half-day city tour. In the evening
enjoy the exclusive boat ride at Lake Pichola. Overnight at
Hotel.
DAY 10 UDAIPUR / JAIPUR
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for Jaipur - The Pink City. Jaipur is popularly
known as Pink City because
of the pink paint applied on the walls of the old buildings.
In
Rajput culture, pink was traditionally a color associated with
hospitality. Upon arrival, check in at Hotel.Evening
free and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 11JAIPUR
After early breakfast, Visit the Amber Fort, ascend
the fort on elephant back. Afternoon take a half-day city tour
of Jaipur. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 12 JAIPUR
/ AGRA
After
breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive down leisurely
to Agra. The city of Agra is famous world over for the
Taj Mahal. Millions of tourists from all over the world come
here every year to savor the different moods of this magnificent
edifice. It also has a number of historical monuments in and
around the city, dating back to the 16th and 17th century. Upon
arrival, check in at the hotel. En-route visit Bharatpur Bird
Sanctuary and Fatehpur Sikri, the beautiful city of red sandstone.
DAY 13 AGRA
After breakfast, take a half-day city tour. Afternoon
visit Agra Fort and enjoy the sunset at the beautiful Taj Mahal-
the seventh wonder of the world. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 14 AGRA
/ DELHI
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive
down to Delhi. En-route visit Sikandra, the Emporer Akbar’s
Mausoleum. Upon arrival, check in at the Hotel. Evening free
for leisure and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 15 DELHI
After late breakfast, check out from the Hotel. Day for shopping and
visiting Lotus temple, Delhi Haat, etc. and transfer to International
Airport for onward destination.
