DAY 01 ARRIVE DELHI
Arriving Delhi - The capital of India. Meet and Greet at the
Airport. Transfer to Hotel for check in. Break fast at the hotel.
Afternoon take a city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi visiting
Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, India Gate, Parliament House, President
House, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat. Evening witness "Sound
& Light" show at Red Fort to get a glimpse of the History
of the Fort. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 02 DELHI / SAMODE
After breakfast, check out and drive down to Samode, a wealthy
territory eventually passed within the clan to Behari Das, a
Rajput warrior in the service of the Mughals. Upon arrival check
in at the Hotel. Afternoon at leisure to browse the Palace and
the village.Finest among the magnificent edifices that adorn
this part of Rajesthan, Samode Palace stands unique in serene
splendour and a perfect example of the Rajput – Mughal style
of architecture. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03 SAMODE / JAIPUR
After breakfast, check out and proceed for Jaipur, en-route
visit Amber Fort, the superb example of Rajput architecture,
was begun by Raja Maan Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar’s
army, and later completed by Jai Singh.Upon arrival, check in
at the Hotel. Afternoon half day city tour of Jaipur, popularly
known as ‘Pink City’ because of the pink paint applied on the
walls. In Rajput culture, pink was traditionally a color associated
with hospitality. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04JAIPUR / RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK
After Breakfast, check out and drive down to Ranthambore, a
tiger reserve national park. Upon arrival, check in at the Hotel.
Afternoon take a Jungle Safari on Jeep and spot the tigers and
other wild animals. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 05 RANTHAMBORE / KOTA
Early morning enjoy the Jeep safari and view the wild beasts.
Afternoon, check out from the Hotel and proceed to Kota, famous
for City Palace and Fortress. En-route visit Bundi, the capital
of major princely state during the heyday of Rajputs.Bundi is
a picturesque little town whose medieval atmosphere more or
less remains.On arrival, check in at the Hotel. Rest of the
day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06 KOTA / UDAIPUR
After breakfast, check out and drive leisurely to Udaipur, the
capital of the erstwhile state of Mewar. Variously described
as the "City of Sunrise", the "City of Dreams" and the "City
of Enchantment", Udaipur is beautifully set amidst wooded hills
and slopes encircling a scenic lake. En-route visit Chittorgarh
Fort. The hilltop fortress of Chittorgarh epitomizes the whole
romantic, doomed ideal of Rajput Chivalry. Upon arrival, check
in at the Hotel. Evening free and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 07 UDAIPUR
After breakfast, half-day city tour of Udaipur. Evening free
and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08 UDAIPUR / KUMBALGARH
After breakfast, chek out from the hotel and drive down to Kumbalgarh.
Upon arrival, check in at the Hotel. Afternoon you can see Kumbalgarh
fort, gardens and the palaces. This is the most important fort
after Chittorgarh. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 09KUMBALGARH / JODHPUR
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive down to
Jodhpur, The largest city in Rajasthan after Jaipur. En-route
visit Ranakpur, Ghanerao and Rohetgarh. Upon arrival, check
in at the Hotel. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 10 JODHPUR
After breakfast, take a half-day city tour. Jodhpur's houses
and temples, palaces and havelis still retain and preserve the
age-old traditions and are protected from the desert by a massive
10 km long wall. The massive fort atop a rocky hill dominates
the city. A picturesque road winds up through various gates
and walls. Evening free and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 11 JODHPUR / PUSHKAR
After breakfast, check out and drive down to Pushkar, a town
clings to the side of small and beautiful Pushkar Lake with
its many bathing Ghats and Temples. Pushkar is also famous for
huge camel and cattle fair, which takes place in October or
November. En-route visit Ajmer- a major center of Muslim pilgrims.
It has some superb examples of early Muslim architecture. Upon
arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening free for leisure and
overnight at Hotel.
DAY 12 PUSHKAR / DELHI
After breakfast, check out from the Hotel . Drive down
to Ajmer Railway Station to board the train for Delhi. Upon
arrival, transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 13 DELHI
After late breakfast, check out from the Hotel.Day for shopping
and visiting Lotus temple etc. and transfer to International
Airport for onward destination.
