DAY 01 ARRIVE DELHI
On arrival transfer to hotel. Check-in at hotel. Rest of the
day free to relax and unwind. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 02 DELHI
After breakfast enjoy full day combined city tour of Old and
New Delhi visiting historical Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India's
largest mosque, Raj Gaht - The cremation point of father of
Nation Mahatma Gandhi, India Gate, President House, Birla Temple
- The place of Gods, Qutub Minar - The victory tower, Lotus
Temple - Bahai's worship center, Humayun's Tomb etc. Overnight
at hotel.
DAY 03 DELHI / RISHIKESH
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive down to
Rishikesh. The calm, serene surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere
have led many a saint and godman to set up ashrams along the
holy Ganga. Sage Raibhya Rishi did a pen- ance to please God
who appeared as Hrishikesh. That was how the holy town of Rishikesh,
situated on the banks of Ganga, got its name. On arrival check
in and overnight at hotel.
DAY 04 RISHIKESH / KANATAL
After breakfast, check out from the and take a city tour visiting
Lakshman Jhula, Kailashanand Misson Ashram, Triveni Ghat, etc.
Evening drive down to Kanatal- a hamlet relatively unknown to
the outside world. Untouched, untamed & totally undefined, whose
crisp invigorating winds mingle with sunny blue skies, where
nature is in view in its myriad compositions glorious sun sets
and screens deep forest. On arrival, check in at exclusive cottage.
DAY
05 KANATAL
After breakfast, visit Dandachali Forest, Kaudiya Forest, Batwaldar
Forest, Surkunda Devi ( one of the sidh peeths ) and Dhanaulti.
Evening free and overnight at hotel.
DAY 06 KANATAL / HARIDWAR
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive down to
Haridwar, called by many names ranging from Kapilasthan and
Gangadwar to Tapovan, Haridwar is probably the holiest of cities
which stand on the banks of the sacred Ganga river. It is at
this point that the Ganga emerges from the Himalayas into the
northern plains. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. Day free and
overnight at hotel.
DAY 07 HARIDWAR
After breakfast, take a city tour visiting Har-ki-Pauri and
temples.. Evening free and overnight at hotel.
DAY 08 HARIDWAR / DELHI
After breakfast, check out and drive down to Delhi. On arrival,
check in at hotel. Evening free and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 09 DELHI
After late breakfast, check out from the Hotel. Day for shopping
and visiting Lotus temple, Delhi Haat, etc. and transfer to
International Airport for onward destination.
